iKe presented the potential of the platform salesforce.com to create a new type of application during an evening of YaJuG, the Luxembourg Java User Group, devoted to cloud computing, which took place on June 30, 2010.

During that evening, the iKe Cloud Computing team, specialized most particularly in Salesforce/force.com (one of the most important Saas solution providers), presented the link between the two technological universes, Java and salesforce.com, and provided insight into the future solution VMforce, (a Java software stack supporting the standard Java code, POJO, JPS/Servlet and the Spring framework) and administered by Salesforce.

It only takes a drag and drop of the Java application to deploy it, the infrastructure concerns (scalability, maintenance, availability, etc.) being totally managed by Salesforce.

Of course, the VMForce solution allows the Java code to control the units and services of the force.com solution, specifically native or developed ones. The meeting of two rich and passionate worlds which allow the creation of new solutions.
